Providing border protection while enabling commerce to flow

Trucks waiting at the Border to be inspectedPeople, goods and technologies are crossing international borders at an accelerating rate, and where these transitions are illegal, have the considerable potential to de-stabilize the existing order. Terrorism, drug trafficking, money laundering, counterfeiting, smuggling and immigration are the most obvious examples.

ComDef® 2006 Tucson, co-chaired by the United States and Canada and with the participation of many countries familiar with these border issues will share experiences and suggest solutions for early application.
