PREAMBLE

One year into the Obama administration, National and Local Government Departments, Agencies and Industry Partners take stock.  The conference will identify issues concerning the nexus of Homeland Security and Homeland Defense   We have become more successful in sharing and protecting information but more needs to be done.  How do other countries achieve seamless interoperability?  Can we employ approaches being used overseas?  What approaches can U.S, organizations offer other countries?  How can we protect our airports, ports, harbors and critical infrastructure and still allow efficient commercial and social activity? How can we maximize resiliency?
